Raj Lalwani
Co-founder & CEO

Entrepreneur-at-heart, Raj brings over 22 years of software experience to the Social Calendar team. Most recently, he was the founder and CEO of Billeo, the venture-backed consumer bill-pay startup company. Billeo raised over $11 million from industry insiders and institutional investors, and is deployed by Visa, JP Morgan Chase and other large financial institutions. Prior to Billeo, Raj co-founded Assigncorp, an e-commerce consulting firm, with customers like Blockbuster.com, Kaiser Permanente, Countrywide and Sony PlayStation. Raj began his career as a software development engineer for Hewlett-Packard.

Raj holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT, Delhi, India, where he was also the class valedictorian and Gold Medal winner. He also holds an MS in computer science from Penn State University, and a certificate in databases from Stanford University.

David Jordan
Co-founder & Chief Product Officer

David brings over 12 years of software experience to the Social Calendar team, including five years of experience designing user interfaces that specialize in web-based applications. Prior to co-founding Social Calendar, he was the Principal User Interface Designer at InQuira, a company that focuses on improving customer interactions on the Web and in the call center. InQuira customers include Bank of America and Honda. Prior to InQuira, David worked as a User Interface Design Consultant with Billeo, as a User Interface Design Lead with Icarian and as a software development engineer with Icarian, Assigncorp, Intiva and InfoGain.

David holds an MS in Computer Science, with an emphasis in human-computer interaction design, from Stanford University, and a BS in computer science from UC Santa Barbara.

Jennifer Chang
Co-founder & Principal Software Engineer

Chang brings over 6 years of software experience to the Social Calendar team. Previously, she spent four years at Oracle writing constraint-based scheduling algorithms to help manufacturers plan and schedule their shop floors. Before that, she worked at Icarian as a software development engineer. She can be found at night dancing Argentine tango at milongas in the area.

Chang holds a MS in computer science, with an emphasis in human-computer interaction design, a BS in computer science, and an AB in Psychology, all from Stanford University.

Vipin Joshi
Director, Newput Infotech Private Limited, India

Vipin Joshi is a Director of Newput's India Development Center. He brings with him 33 years of managerial and operational experience in various chemical industries around the world. Vipin has worked with major Indian industry giant Aditya Birla Group as Vice President in India and Thailand; setting up chemical industries, improving utilization of raw materials, utilities and manpower.

Vipin is associated with data processing centers since 1979 when HCL began its operations with desktop computers using BASIC as the programming language. Vipin has worked with IT, computers and networking at the plants.

Vipin has a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering (1968) from IIT Mumbai, India and M.E. in Industrial Engineering from Indore University (1979). He has remained on the merit list throughout his academic life.

Awanish Tiwari
Technical Architect, Newput Infotech Private Limited, India

Awanish brings around 12 years of software development experience to the team with his exposure to variety of technologies and domains. He earlier worked with companies like Primavera, Travelex and Tata Infotech during his consulting assignments. He also worked with start-ups like TWiki.net, JewelryLessons.com, and ForeclosureRadar.com for their product development. A Sun certified Web developer, Awanish is especially interested in backend development. With his experience in distributed systems, Awanish focuses on the databases, servers and overall backend requirements.

An engineering graduate from Bhopal University, Awanish had been given accolade by NIIT Technologies, USA for his outstanding work on Primavera Project Planner. He always remained a very good team player with eagerness to learn new technologies.
